307/206 283mm Brake Setup

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have read the fitting guide on the main site, but just wondered where the best places are to buy the 307 calipers and the yokes from (brand new). Peugeot main dealer presumably, but anywhere else?

Anywhere online so I can be lazy :):) ???

And does anyone have an up to date prices for the calipers and yokes?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Nige

Thanks for the replies guys!

I have looked at brakepart.co.uk but i dont think they sell the yokes to go with the calipers which is a shame!

Anyone got any ideas of where might sell the calipers & yokes?

i see no reason to buy them new, especially 307 ones as those are still only a few years old etc. save your money!

yeah i got mine from a good peugeot breakers near Duxford. They were almost brand new but well over a 100 cheaper than new, for yokes, calipers, pads and discs. and theyre awesome brakes! Just have a hunt for a local place on the internet or yellow pages and then get them to deliver to you! Nice and easy!

Thanks for the advice guys!

Im going to try my local Peugeot place and see what the prices are new (discs and pads will be new regardless) and compare the prices to what a breaker can do them for - then take it from there!

Cheers!

If it gives you an idea of what to aim for I got calipers, discs and pads (307 2.0 HDI) from our local breaker for £100 - I'm guessing he pretty much chucked the discs and pads in for that price.

...as an added bonus the bleed nipples didn't come off in my hand ;)

dave.
