A18_RYU 0 Posted March 11, 2006 hey everyone, just got a couple fo quick questions.... my rocker cover is leaking and will that fail the MOT? also, bit of a silly question, just want confirmation....is it ok to have the car go in on 2 alloy wheels on the back with 2 steelies on the front?? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

jackherer 543 Posted March 11, 2006 it depends on how bad the leak is, if its gushing everywhere it'll fail, but if its just weeping a bit then it'll be fine. the wheels will be fine, the only tme its a problem is if they are mismatched on one axle (i.e. uneven left to right) However if you present a leaky car with mismatched wheels they are gonna take a closer look at other areas.
