Guest nzant008 Posted March 8, 2006 YES, I KNOW WHAT THE HELL IS THIS IDIOT THINKING!!!! Well here is the jist of it. There is a 306 Gti-6 for sale with a blown engine (cambelt broke at high speed) and i wanted buy and find a replacement engine to put back into the HOLE. However, there doesnt seem to be any for sale in New Zealand. I do however have in my possesion a perfectly good 1.9 Mi16 engine (which i was going to sell, but am thinking about re-considering) and was thinking how hard would it be to plonk the Mi16 engine into the 306 Gti-6. Does anyone have any experience with the RFS engine? I have only had experience with the xu9's and havent worked on a RFS engine. All help would be much appreciated. What a fine defense service that is, kill you own. Are you a Yank at heart Kris? I thought those days had passed when you returned to the 405 after the 309 Mi you had.
