Guest ecosse205 Posted March 4, 2006 Hi, Car I have just purchased has had the torsion bar set to a rediculous low level. How do I ensure that this is set back to the original factory set height ? Plan is to use the car as Track car, and will be doing alot of running at the Nurburgring, so will need the height set to original as on the 'Ring' there is major chance of bottoming out suspension. Any help here would be appreciated Many thanks William
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted March 4, 2006 Raising the rear beam thats a recent topic asking the exact same thing which I replied to with a description of how to do it. Any problems post them up & we'll try to answer. Do you know how it was lowered? Probably using the spline method (maybe two splines) & if the beam has been reconditioned at all? To so it the proper way (especially if its going to be spending time at the Ring) it would be worth while reconditioning your beam at the same time as adjusting the ride height. There is a guide on the main site here. Graham.

pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted March 4, 2006 I have followed the links and everything looks straight forward. No worries, it is all easy as long as everything comes apart OK. If you are reconditioning your beam at the same time its best to get the bearings etc from Peugeot, if you want the numbers say & they'll be posted up. Graham.
