Sander_Kolijn 0 Posted March 2, 2006 (edited) Hello, Someone told me that one of the GTidrivers painted his red carpet black. I've bought an dark green one in perfect condition and I want to paint it black also. Was it succesfull? And how do I need to do it? TNX!! B1ack_Mi16 67 Posted March 3, 2006 Why not get a black base model one in the first place?

Hilgie 16 2 Cars Posted March 3, 2006 Why not get a black base model one in the first place? Because those are shorthaired instead of longhaired.

rooster 0 Posted March 3, 2006 theres a full black interior on ebay with door cards and centre and carpet http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-205-GTI-BLAC...1QQcmdZViewItem will save ya messing plus there is no dye that you can get thatll do it and im sure paint will flake off with wear and tear ive looked extensively as i wanted to do my CTI carpet, but ive settled for a dark blue one as black ones in CTI dont exist
Sander_Kolijn 0 Posted March 4, 2006 TNX, but an original carpet is shorthaired, looks cheap and feels very hard instead of longhaired, looks nice and feels soft. I also thought of using an Goodwood carpet but 309 will not fit perfectly in 205. I can also not use an UK carper because we drive on the wrong side of the road ;-)
Guest BrainFluid Posted March 6, 2006 Ak, just go ahead and dye it. Talk to some one who sells dye about what would be best to use
