V1 RDE 0 Posted March 2, 2006 Seen a cheap 106 XSI 1600cc for sale that needs a new gearbox. Do the Saxo VTR/VTS boxes bolt straight on? Cos there readily available, havent seen many XSI ones for sale. The VTS box might be a nice upgrade due to the closer ratios... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Xsi box is closer than the VTS box, but the difference is all in the final drives so if it comes with a knackered xsi box you can make another "xsi" box with a VTS box and the cw/p Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Alastairh 47 Posted March 2, 2006 Yes as Boom Bang said any xsi/vtr/vts box will slot on, with just swapping speedo system and will be fine. My xsi is a 1400, and blew the box and put a 1600 box on, and its rather long for the 1400. But for you id look into a vts box.
