Block Leaking Every Feckin Way

HELP just finished replacing coolant pump, head gasket, timing belt etc only to find the block has a small crack just below the area of the headbolt with the 1 inch spacer the crack is around about an inch long i wanted to know is A:) can this be repaired/bodged B:) if yes to A then with what and what is the procedure i should use any hints or tips much appreciated. Thanx in advance people this car is gonna send me to the nut house eventually

i had the same problem as you, i bodged it with some jb weld, i tried some other stuff but found that the anti freeze softened it causing it to leak. The JB weld has held so far . I did it in situ and drained the coolent system, i made sure the area was clean and then put the jb weld in.

cheers for your response mate as it happens i did go and buy some JB stickweld today but its nice to have confirmation that there is a chance of it working before i put any more effort in to the F***ing thing

The bolt above the water pum,p should have two spacers on iirc one thick & one thin, same as the rest of the headbolts.(confirmed imo by this page).

Fully, I've been at work since Sunday & haven't had chance to get to a post office yet but to tie you over Miami Stu's Parts site should offer all the pages you had on you old CD & is easier to navigate than the new parts CD.
