timmsy19 3 Posted February 24, 2006 this may sound stupid to some but ive never even thought of doing this before. Ive done a quick search to see if its been covered but not really helped. Ive got some bronze windows to go into my base model 3door and lecky windows. Ive not wired the motors as yet because im just not up to doing it by myself nor do i really have the ability. so what ive done is put the motor in and its in the open position the window is in the closed position. will i need to wire it up so i can get the window onto the rails for it to be ready for it to work or can i move the motors into place so the window will stay shut? Paintguy 0 Posted February 24, 2006 I generally use a couple of lengths of wire connected to a car battery. Flicking them on the terminals of the motor (but not touching each other!) will persuade it into the correct position.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted February 25, 2006 Can't you just move the glass on the mechanism to match the motor etc? Graham.
