CaM 0 Posted February 22, 2006 I'm sick of my half leathers looking pants. So......... I've got access to either brand new jamex daytona in black, or some second hand momos in red ($600NZD per pair, either or - momos are 3 rallys old, FIA and $1100 each retail) will either of these bolt up to the standard rails without too much persuasion??? I don't want to have to go to the hassle of relocating the seatbelt buckle I did a search, nothing clear cut came up any help?
Wes 86 1 Cars Posted February 22, 2006 if they are fixed buckets then you wont be able to use the standard seat belt as the lap part will sit across the seat and not you! and afaik you will need seperate frames to put them in.
sonofsam 5 Posted February 22, 2006 I made up some 'straight to floor' seat mounts for my Sparco Sprints, harnesses are bolted to the bottom of them. The pic should show you the difference in spacing between normal Seat fixing points and buckets hope this helps Seat Mounts
SPGTi 2 Posted February 23, 2006 This shows how side mounted seats should be installed. Using the std mounting points mean you sit way too high. Not my guide by the way. http://www.stockhatch.net/seatfitting/index.htm Steve
