A Leak?

Recommended Posts

Found it!

Upon closer inspection I found water coming out behind the seam sealer in the corner.

Dug a bit off with the screwdriver and there was a little hole behind it gently seaping the water in.

It should be possible from under there.

Only s*itter is I just fitted a new wing and used loads of tiger seal to bond it on B)

I sealed as high up as I could with new seam sealer then painted it. Fingerscrossed it'll do the trick

Fitted some more rear quarter seals today too as these were leaking too!

Bloody weather seems to be coming in everywhere!

Oh I also took the scuttle cover off and polished the panel under the wipers.

There was previously water hanging around under there which certainly won't help as it will creep inside.

Now it just runs straight off and down the drain B)

Don't my boot is leaking, I plan to seal the holes there. Think is the washer jet where the water is getting in. Also got a little water in the other car as well. Good thing we like cars . . . . .

That's weird

Mine has no washer jet or wiper motor in the back and I haven't got round to blocking the holes. Not a drop has come in B)

Maybe the water hits the jet then traces into the car. Without it there it doesn't come in at all!

Well last night we had some of the heaviest rain known to man and it's bone dry!!!! banana.gif

One rear quarter seal has leaked a bit but that's easy to sort. The front was my main concern :)

For Farks Sake!

Turned the car round on the drive at the weekend and now this morning I'm greeted with a puddle where water has come over the door seal!

Will the leaks never stop!!!????
