Guest coxie1.9 Posted February 20, 2006 gti front bumper, ive tried whipping it off just to measure up a bumper ive got ( large daft one etc ) and ive located 2 brakets under the spot lamp holes undone them, and two under the headlamp area bumper brackets which ive undone, but on the wing sides, are they just sliders like on the mk2 golf, or do you have to unbolt those support bracket things to get the bumper off ?? tried both but one wont undo etc and the other way it wont slide p.s dont have a haynes manual i realise itd be very simple with one Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted February 20, 2006 You have to unbolt the sides as well, with the red strip removed there are a couple (one a side) of plastic covers hiding the T bolts that bolt it though the slider bracket.
