How Bad Are Gsf Front Shocks?

Recommended Posts

Rob_the_Sparky

Just got a price from local Pug dealer and FRT SHOCKS....£74.51 each + vat versus GSF ~£30+VAT each

Given the price of the Pug parts does anyone know of a company that can provide quality but standard spec shocks for a more sensible price? I'm a bit cautious about the GSF quality...

Aren't the front shocks, the same as 309 items?

I got some 309 shocks for about 109 inc VAT just before xmas

ask them what make they are. They should be fine. Usually they sell SachsBoge which are good quality gas assisted twin tubes

Peugeot will just probably sell the exact same shock for 3 times the price. Eurocarparts and GSF tend to only sell SACHS/BOGE or Bilstein. The standard Bilsteins from ECP tend to be very cheap.

Hi mate,

Try Dean Hunter (Peugeot parts) 01977 677887....

He gets original Pug packaged parts in.... with a good price usually. ;)
