Kangaroopoo-the Final Answer

YIPPEE at last, but before I reveal all----remember to fix anything you have to fully understand how it works,my advice to any newbie is to make use of the excellent SEARCH facility on this forum, located next to Help on the top of the forum page, type in words such as Afm,tps kangaroo etc sit back & spend time trawling thro years worth of problems/tips/answers.OK so how did I resolve my problem & it didn't cost me a penny, the solution came from Pugtorque, who I now acclaim as the one true God who advocates a simple idea in his many replies to others with same problem in the past, ignore this at your loss.First take up all the slack in the throttle cable (I had shedloads)Second adjust the TPS so that it switches as soon as the throttle quadrant moves, finaly when eng at running temp adjust idle speed on throttle body.I have done two 30mile runs after this set up with none of my previous problems present,I can drive at 30mph in 4th gear something which was impossible before hand & not get embarrased in a que of traffic, cant wait to go out again today.Remember, you are not alone outhere,MIKE.
