Doof 11 Posted February 6, 2006 Ok, a friend of mine is having trouble with her 106 XS, the headlights aren't working. One twist of the stalk gives sidelights which are fine, another twist and nothing else happens....main beam is working fine though. its unlikely to be the bulbs with both gone and the stalk is fine with all other controls. Could it be a relay somewhere maybe? I know this isn't a 205 but just wondered if anyone else might have an idea. Thanks for any pointers, Lewis
buchanan84 1 Posted February 6, 2006 my sister's clio has done exactly the same thing a couple of times it's a relay that gets knocked/ falls out above the passenger footwell sounds like something similer
eob 7 Posted February 6, 2006 I hope it's not what happened me! If the front fog lights short on a 106 XSi, no part of the circuit is fused. Destroyed the loom from the dashboard to the inner wing. Never seen so much damage for such a simple fault. I was driving it at the time too, cabin suddenly filled with smoke. It was like, 'Mayday, mayday, we're hit, descending to 70mph to bail out'.
