Guest percy Posted February 1, 2006 Has anybody else suffered the annoying problem of the wiper blades not parking themselves in the correct position after sweeping the front screen. Is the only solution a new wiper motor or can something be repaired in the motor itself? Ta.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted February 1, 2006 Where do they park? You can adjust the park position by moving the arm on the wiper motor so they sit correctly. Its a 10mm nut iirc. Graham.
Guest percy Posted February 3, 2006 Graham, they park intermittently in various places across the screen, sometimes at the top of their stroke, sometimes in the middle etc....
vern 0 Posted February 3, 2006 I may be wrong on this, but is the park of wipers not conrolled by a relay type box located in the fuse box?.
Daz_C 8 1 Cars Posted February 3, 2006 I thought that it was the relay that did this aswell.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted February 3, 2006 Yeah this does sound like a relay problem if they always park in a different place. Its the blue one in the fusebox iirc. Is the wiping pattern OK apart from the random parking? Graham.
