hman205 1 Posted January 31, 2006 Ok my 205 mi16 started spluttering again on the way to work this morning The misfire starts at 4000rpm then quickly swamps the whole rev range making the car sound like a subaru but nearly completely undriveable i have changed Plugs leads Cap Battery and checked the connections on everything The annoyng things is the intermittacy of the problem twice a month at most Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

d-9 0 Posted January 31, 2006 get a pair of scisors, strip the wire back about 5mm on the two wires and then bend the exposed bit back to form a hook or V shape. Now pull the rubber boot back, stuff the wires into the holes in the plug and wiggle it around until theyre in reasonably well, then pull the rubber boot back down and hook it over, should stay there well enough to get you home.
