Redtop 14 2 Cars Posted January 30, 2006 Just after re building my 1.9 gti with be3 box. There is a pipe that goes from the housing on the left hand side of the vehicle below the distributor cap to where? Thats the problem. You would think it goes to the water tower but it doesn't. pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted January 31, 2006 It sounds like you mean the small 90' hose that goes from the side of the thermostat housing to the coolant temp sender body & then a longer pipe goes from the back of that to the bulkhead for the heater.
