davemar 16 Posted January 25, 2006 Sometimes if I hit the motorway soon into a journey the whole car seems to vibrate for a few minutes. It only really happens when about 10 minutes into a journey if the car has been started from cold, apart from that it is fine. Changing the speed +/-20mph doesn't seem to make any difference (which suggests its not wheel balance), and dipping the clutch or popping it into neutral doesn't get rid of it either. I've checked all the wheels are bolted on properly, the tyres look fine. Any ideas? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've only really flicked between 4th and 5th on the motorway, and seems to happen in both gears. I hope it's not the driveshafts, I sure I'm haven't had them in for too long.
