2 Amps 1 Cable ?fuses

im running 2 amps in my 405 pimp wagon a 400w and a 600w. power is coming from 1 cable split on a block into 2, but i need to know what size fuse to use? and will they be okay on the same earth point :(

Not sure on the fuses, but you should make sure that the earth wire or in your case the collective earth wire thickness is the same as that of the power cable. Yes you can use the same earth point on the car.

Watts = Amps x Volts.

 

400W = 33.33A x 12V

600W = 50A x 12V

 

Since the amplifiers won't be 100% efficent (they will generate heat as well) then I'd say go for a 40A and a 60A if you have seperate fuses, or 100A if you have a single shared fuse.

Cabe size should be considered here as doesnt matter if the fuse size is correct for the amp but to large for cable as it will equal one thing fire!

its normally recommended that you earth the amps at seperate points for a cleaner sound
