Do u mean the centres of the front shocks u can't tighten? or the 3 smaller bolts that hold the top mount to the body?

If you mean the large centre bolt that holds the top mount to the shock:

Is there a allen key at the top?

if not, i would use needle nose vice grips to hole the centres still and tighten the bolt with a spanner / ratchet.

To start off u'll need to hold the centre shaft under the nut, until u have done it up so far and u can hold the top of the nut.

Thats how i would do it. That or use a large nut-gun.

You need to get some vice grips (protect the jaws) onto the centre piston through the spring to hold the pistop rod while you tighten the nut up.

Either that or you need a mate at a tyre centre to buzz them up.

i must be the lucky one with this, tightened mine up whilst the whole unit was back on the car, if you use a torque wrench on the nut with the right torque setting and give the nut a few quick sharp turns the torque wrench should start clicking, alternatively a breaker bar, something with good leverage.
