Has Anybody Fitted Plates In The Footwells?

Has anybody fitted any plates for grip in the footwells and if so how do you over come the raised centre in the well? (not well described I know, sorry).

I mean 'foot plates' by the way. Can you weld anodised ones in?

there should still be plenty of space if u put them in above the raised floor (presuming you have no carpet)

if something is anodised it is usually alloy so no it wont weld to steel body!!!

When you say above the raised floor do you mean further towards the bulk head? Is it usual to rivet the plates if they're anodised?
