stevec205gti 0 Posted January 19, 2006 I've got a £100 gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket and as I don't want to buy a body kit or engine conversion my choice of what I spend it on is a bit limited. Most of it will be going on braided brake lines and fast road pads, but I'll still have a bit left over so was looking at the quick shift. Anyone know if it's any good, or if a shouldn't go near with a barge pole ('Oo's got a barge pole - in a Peter Kay stylee) Link here hopefully!!! Comments please....... Gentrix 2 1 Cars Posted January 19, 2006 Hi, this ecosse item looks nearly the same, as the new GE-Quick-shifts. I ordered mine from GE last year, and it is easy to install and a good improvement, if your gear-levers are in good order. And friend of mine ordered the same part - but made a fault on instalation, as he gave one of the tiny screws ab bit too much torque and this resulted in a funny gearchanging a few weeks later. But with new screws, it last on till now.
