Is there anywhere else to get one of these apart from special tuning as they seem to have almost doubled the price of the system compared to the old peugeot sport uk.

 

 

Managed to catch mine on the ramp up to the garage and its ripped the hanger spike off the centre section tube!! annoying.

hmm could you not weld a hanger back on? how much are they now btw?

I image any decent garage should be able to weld the hanger back on. I image it'd cost much less than a new pipe.

I've had my hanger welded back on - it came off and took away some of the pipe leaving a nice hole ( and I thought the system was loud as standard!!!) This happened last January, and the weld's held up since without any problems

how much are they now btw?

£36 + vat doe intermediate section & £81 + vat for the backbox.

 

But then the equivilent system from West Midland Motorsport is;

1.9 and 1.6 Competition Exhaust

Race and rally proven, 2" pipe and complete with down pipe.

Yeah didnt really want to weld it back on as its quite an old one and the only real option is gas welding due to it being covered in rust and full of carbon inside. Also its made a fair mess of the tube just though i'd see if anybody else sold it cheaper.

Try seing if a locl exhaust place will mkae one for you, afterall it is hardly a complex pipe! Had one made ages ago for a Triumph by taking them a tail section and askeing them to make up one without a silencer. It was very reasonable from what I remember...
