Super Charger Oil Feed

Recommended Posts

rossimura

Noticed a few people are fitting / thinkning about fitting Eaton E45 super chargers off of minis.

If anyone has done it would you mind letting me know where you take the oil feed from (I'm assuming the super charger needs an oil feed).

Is the pressure supplied a the gland plate behind the filter sufficient. I was thinking about taking a feed off the oil / air cooler.

Also anyone got any pictures of finished stuff / work in progress???

I've drawn up some plans for braketry removing the power steering pump, and adapting the rear starter motor mount, and mounting it infront of the sump. (radiator might have to be shifted on the 205)

Would also be interested in knowing what size pulleys people are running ....

Think they're self contained units which require no external oil feed or drain.

Cheers getting one shortly off someone doing an upgrade.

Havent seen one close up yet..

Considering running it like a turbo, blowing through my old 200SX intercooler, its small and fits under the wing on a 200SX, and a 200SX AFM into the standard 1.9 plenum with a 5th injector mounted into the plenum.

No oil feed is unexpected but it would be abit of a bonus.
