Stefa 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Hello! Need little bit of information. My 406 turbo need some more power, and i think to buy new custom chip, bigger injectors and motorola 2,5 bar map sensor. How difficult is to change map sensor? Can it do with by yourself or better go to some kind of cartuning spezialist? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DrSeuss 0 Posted January 11, 2006 opening the ecu isn't too bad. The only real issue is desoldering the original map sensor. If your reasonably good at soldering, its certainly possible. I doubt map sensors are particularly sensitive to soldering heat. So you stand a good chance. Open up your ecu first and work out what has to be done. Remember to earth yourself before hand (touch a radiator pipe or metal part of your computer case) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
