sorr 0 Posted January 10, 2006 My fuel pump has decide to only work when it wants. When I turn the ignition on it does not prime so the car will not start. But if you leave the ignition on for 4 minutes or so the pump starts so off it goes. It cannot be the tachimetric relay as a previous owner must have hard wired the pump. Anthony 1,003 Posted January 10, 2006 Check that you are getting 12v across the two fuel pump terminals, but assuming you are, just replace the pump - there's plenty of them out there and they're generally fairly reliable. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
