Guest cwoodsie2 Posted January 7, 2006 Hi - posting this on behalf of a mate who hasn't access to the forum but owns a 93 1.9GTi with a cat. He was driving along today with the car fully warmed up when the revs died and it tried to stall. This was in gear. At the same time a red light came on the dash to the top right of the rev counter. Anyone know what this light is?? My 205's long gone so haven't got a handbook to have a look and his is at his old house and he can't get there til tomorrow? Cheers in advance for the help
Jonmurgie 2 Posted January 7, 2006 Taken from here: http://www.205gtidrivers.com/articles/m-instrumentpanel.html Top right corner of revs counter: catalytic converter overheating. Only on cat models.
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted January 8, 2006 Might also be the k light, indicating that there is a fault code stored for a particular problem that is starting. Graham.
Guest cwoodsie2 Posted January 9, 2006 Thanks for the replies fellas - he thought it may be the Cat. One question though (and sorry if this is very stupid of me) Might also be the k light, indicating that there is a fault code stored for a particular problem that is starting If this is the case how do you know what this fault code is and can you access it??
