Green Machine 3 Posted January 4, 2006 usually if its missing at 4k then its the ignition amp, but if its only on no2 then yeah leads, make sure the black lead cover hasnt compressed the leads to much as i have found these to cause problems. if its a standard engine most leads will do, eg halfords or local motor factors, its not worth spending loads on a (suposidly better) set as they dont do any better and fail alot quicker. hman205 1 Posted January 4, 2006 changed the leads and cap today didn;t sort the problem out so i tryed to make it push past the 4000rpm which it relucatantly did and now the misfire is at all rev's think it may be a plug has died so am gonna try that tomorrow Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
