The only tricky bit in terms of wiring it up is you have a few sets of feeds. You have a switched live that goes into the fuel pump half of the relay.

CC10 i think on those diagrams i've posted. Goes into pin 2 of the fat relay

pin 18 needs a permanent 12v live

pin 28 is your switched 12v live (normally from the keypad)

wire 120 is your fuel pump wire. It comes from the inertia switch then you join it to the 205 loom before it goes through the brown multiplugs.

Afaik, that should be all thats required to get the engine running. Assuming you have all the ancilliaries connected. Most of the permanent supplies will come straight from the large cable that goes to the starter motor/power distribution block (bolted to slam panel).

Thanks Sam,i'll buy you a beer for that mate should we ever meet.yes all ancillaries pretty much ready..apart from ign amp and speed module interface thingy bob.so i doubt it will run without them anyway.the main harness has been fully tested and labelled and engine loom is attached

chocks away

If you want the ECU pinouts and wiring diagram, then I've got both from Autodata that I've converted to PDF. Let me know your email address and I'll sent them to you if you want :)

  • Thanks 1

Dude, this is the first time i've had a chance to sit down (in the warm) and look at what i have got infront of me..wich is 10pr(main harness) all the diagrams, pinouts and multi meter.

Im still struggling a bit,ok here goes. CC10 is part of one of the brown multi plugs on 10pr that connects to engine harness(20mot) ecu side and is pictured at the top middle of the page(diagrams you posted)..so that connects to fat relay on 10pr?

were am i looking for pin 18 and 28 on the relay, ecu main outs or brown 10pr multi plugs?

on the upside i think i have found found wire 120, thick blue one into the inertia from fusebox, seems to be a few feeds coming from that ,they are thick blue and green and smaller green ones going into brown smaller plugs and then dissapering back up the loom or am i completely wrong..i think i am!!

im so determined to do this, even though i have noticed more grey hairs on my head recently and my nails are slightly more bitten than usual!!

Yep thanks Graham,im on the edge of the Abyss and im about to dive straight in (finally understand wiriing diags)

so if doing away with keypad,i need a switched live to brown multi plug were keypad would normally connect?

do you know if it will run ok for the moment without vehicle speed interface module(thanks again to Jacobs53) i bought a new ign amp module, not cheap are they!!

well this afternoon and saturday are plug n' play time :) wish me luck
