kate205gti 4 Posted December 28, 2005 not that im paranoid or anything but.. my cti is now shod with F1s and its snowed.. a lot!! what tyres are good for snow? and does the size matter?? 185/55 vs 195/50, etc.. is it worth geting a set of part worn other makes put on the spare alloys or are F1s not THAT bad? Anthony 1,003 Posted December 28, 2005 Generally for snow, you want the thinnest tyres with the chunkiest/deepest tread. That said, we only get a few days of snow a year down 'Saaf so it hardly seems worth worrying about to me - F1's are far from brilliant on snow but they're useable in my experience.
