Can anyone ID the weight of a standard 1.6/1.9 cast iron exhaust manifold please? I've seen a  couple of references to GTi6 and other manifolds but none for the standard item.

Just to clarify as it may not be quite visible. The above 1.6 GTI wheels have 175/70-14 WINTER tires on, which are not standard. If fitted with the standard 165 all season, they may be a little lighter, but the difference with the XS in weight will be quite the same, as the XS was also wearing a 175 (All season though) instead of the standard 165/70-13.

Wheel bolt weights

A. 1.6GTi bolt that comes with the 'pepperpot' rims - 134 grams including the captive washer

B. 1.9GTi bolt same but bolt head is shorter - 106grams

C. Bog standard 205 steelie bolt - 86grams

D. Citroen Berlingo bolt from a 4 hole steelie - 50grams !

Both A and B fit a range of rims, perpperpots, speedline, and the Gentry allows I got mine with.

And C and D can also be used in a whole range of steelies from Peugeot and Citroen. I got C from a set of 205 'cheesegrater' steelies and D from a Berlingo that had been thru a flood and washed up in a scrappers

Weird that Peugeot's lightest bolt is from a bread van

There's a lot of rolling dead weight in A, B and C and the bolts from the van shames them all.  The GTi ones do have different shank profiles, probly to prevent them sheeeeering orf on the apex of a heavy corner while your outside front parts ways with the hub

And no idea why the 1.6 bolts are longer than the 1.9 ?
