gangsterous 0 Posted December 2, 2009 Had my car on a set of corner weight scales the other day. For those interested. A 1989 1.9 GTi, non-sunroof in totally standard condition to my knowledge. Has electric windows and central locking, half leather seats, etc. Full fuel tank, spare wheel and bracket in the boot. Front washer bottle filled, rear empty. Oil, coolant and brake fluid, topped up. The only items missing that might make a difference are the jack and wheel brace from under the bonnet. There are no mud flaps or foot mats, the parcel shelf is missing, the rear boot panel and badges have fallen off and (along with probably any other French car of a similar age) there are a multitude of nuts and bolts missing from various places. Total 889kg with 63% on the front. Accurate to 0.5 kg. Corner weights were: Left Right Front 274.5 282.5 Rear 170 162 Craig That is actually very interesting to know. So the 930kg was not that accurate. If they weigh under 900kg then Woohoo... Lol

V6 Standard Flywheel - 8.1kg (mine is expected to be about 7kg - safety first!) V6 Standard Clutch - 7.2kg
