Livelee 0 Posted July 7, 2006 309GTi mi16 engine quaife LSD roll cage stripped interior 2 opm seats standard pannels and glass 900kg with 1/2 tank fuel at a local dump weight bridge. Seems very heavy compared to the 205s. What's standard for a 309?
Livelee 0 Posted July 8, 2006 Standard 309GTi Rad - 3.4KG Standard 205TD Tad - 8KG :-( Oh well keeping the engine cool is more important than keeping it light. I should manage to brake even on the weight though as most of the stuff i've removed to change the rad won't be going back.

Powers 13 Posted August 14, 2006 Whats the caliper clearence like on that?
welshpug 1,657 Posted August 21, 2006 them steelies are light! what's the dimensions? they're cheap too as I remember someone on PSOOC posted the Price of Michelin steelies and they were something like £180 a set!!
Leon C 1 Posted August 27, 2006 (edited) Apparently 206 GTI 180 calipers will fit so caliper clearence isn't an issue. They are 15x6J ET18 and I paid £20 for all 4, but citroen dealers should be able to supply them for £30 ish* per wheel. They are actually made from an alloy and not steel, hence their low weight. Most of this thread is about these wheels: http://forum.205gtidrivers.com/index.php?s...56930&hl=weight Edited August 27, 2006 by Leon C
