Rear Wheels Locking

Did this get solved by changing the compenstor?

I have the same problem on track, its a bit scary locking a rear wheel at 80 and heading sideways into the armco!

mine's just passed the MoT retest for a compensator related problem - low nsr brake effort

 

replaced both compensators (at vast expense! - together with all of the b'stard pipes as well) and it's now fine

 

i'd previously thought (as per posts in this thread) that it was just a quirk of the car - that, due to no weight at the back, the rears were always going to lock first

 

i'm glad to report that, no matter how hard i try , i can't get the rears to lock before the fronts now. first sprint of the season on Mon, so i'll post findings if it's any different on track (don't think it will be though)
