Real 205 Rallye Pts Stripes

Just to keep those interested informed...........

 

I'm getting quotes this week for complete sets and for individual decals, made from cut vinyl.

 

I'm currently drawing up the templates from the originals on CAD for the signwriters to quote against and should have a price soon.

 

I'll start a group buy thread when I'm sure of the price/quality etc.

What a mad coincidence, it was only today that i got a quote for the full t16 replica kit from a company called milenium signs. The bloke said that as i am going to be the only coustomer it will cost me more. I did not think of a group buy as i did not think anyone would be interested, but if any of you are i can give him a ring. Its costing me £200 fitted.

few pics of mine had 2 spare sets made looking around £200 for the first set and the 2 spare sets was £50 the pair, as its the first set that takes the time setting the machine up,

i have had some grill stripes made up. I had some for the grill and the boot. Cost me £60. Would be cheaper now though as they have made them once.

Just out of interest are your grille stripes printed or are they cut strips of coloured vinyl?

 

The place I looked at getting quotes from were going to use cut strips of coloured vinyl as it worked out cheaper. Not sure how easy these would be to apply though?

I like the PTS stickers on Darker 205's on the GRILL'S only.

 

Side stripes, for me are for Whites, Yellows and one-off rally replica's only.

does any one know where you can get the stickers that are shown on the white ralley with 1.9 wheels in the moutains next the sing post couple of pages back me thinks they have to be the best looking not so in your face but max style.

You could always ask nathanlgd for a quote, would make it easier if you have the patterns ready.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but I have been looking to sticker my car up like the T16 and found this thread.

 

Looking for the same as the pic in the first post and wondered if anyone has the templates or managed to get thier car looking the same. Any info/pics would be good espically of what the rear is meant to look like.

 

I know its been asked before as ive read the old threads but still no luck in finding the templates.

Ditto that. I'm building up a 205 for Targa Tasmania and would like to decorate it with the PTS stripes

 

I thought I'd probably have to have them made up myself but if anyone else has templates etc. I'd be keen on getting a set.

i have all the templates for the stripes the dark blue is apparently a weird colour and has to be specially mixed (according to the printers i used) luckily i had the originals for them to take a sample from

if you go to (or ring) sign wizard in aylesbury they have it all on file so can just run you a sheet off (i had to pay the setup costs so will prob do it quite cheap)

There was someone on this thread just wanting to buy the stripes for the grill, cant remember who it was. Anyway, i bought some on ebay for under £10. Check it out here!

I don't think rallye stripes are supposed to be black and one of the sellers on ebay is selling them with a black stripe, I think that's why they are so cheap.

When i had mine redone he said about he done a guys few weeks ago and he had black where the dark blue is, but i had it in dark blue you can get them as one complete sticker but with the 4 different colours

I bought some of the grill stripes from the bloke on ebay, and it was dark blue, rather than black in the pic.

 

Iv just seen these rallye graphics on ebay. There going pretty cheap, quality may not be too good though

Thats the layout, of items req'd for a euroo kit, as I said to a few people colours are all wrong. Will try and scan in correct sizes and fitting locations as they are in a manual
