Trying To Get My Megasquirt-ii To Run

Hi All.

 

Well I have seen alot of MegaSquirt post over the last few months, so I tought it was about time I got round to fitting mine, and trying to get it to work.

 

The fitting is the easy part.

But can i get the dam thing to run.

As I have never done anything to do with ECU's before eveything is over my head.

 

I just can't seem to get my car to keep running.

on the basis you know your bhp figure, and can't finish this equation in your sig, then i'd guess you have no chance

Yes thay are giving help, but as i not 100% sure what thay mean at times it's taking alot longer to sort out.

Well at long last I have got all my settings worked out.

 

But I still can't get my car to start and idle for long.

 

I seem to be getting a 32ms Injector PW Spike, Then the engine just drops dead.

It very definitely sounds like its overfuelling, if you take the spark plugs out do you get a strong smell of fuel?

 

From what i understand getting a steady idle is probably the hardest part of mapping. So have faith, you'll get there in the end.
