Sorry about this, but I'm quite proud of my efforts today so thought I'd pop up some piccies!

One of the two turbos to sit along side my engine:

As supported by this:

I'll finish miamistu's Mi16Turbo soon too, honest! :)

Do you just have a thing for building turbo manifolds? That's the third engine you've built them for now isn't it in less than a year, what with the M3 lump and Stu's Mi...

Still, should be good for extra smoke from the rears whilst leaving huge darkies down the street :)

Aah, shelved the idea of turbocharging the M3 engine as the blowers I had were too small.

Furtunately, they're just the right size for the 325 so that's what they're going on :)

What are you doing in terms of management?

Looks nice. Should be pretty quick. Wish i had time to start bolting turbo's onto stuff. Maybe one day

Bought an Emerald a couple of months ago for the beemer, did think for a fraction of a second about a megasquirt, but then thought better of it.

Looking good fella, impressive looking manifolds, what steel do you make them out of?

They're grade 304 stainless with the same grade flanges, so hopefully I'll only have to do it once!

Once the other one's done, there's the small matter of making up the rest of the system from the turbos to the back of the car :)

M3Evo - ur doing something along the lines of my latest 'lottery win' fantasy car!

After flicking through one of the BMW mags the other day, I started dreaming of an E30 325 Sport, completely standard looking apart from 17" Alpinas (with very big brakes behind) and lowered slightly. Oh, and a 3.5 liter 6 cylinder with a fecking huge turbo :)

so how will it work mate? sequential or both blowers go at the same time doubling the boost of one?

Fancy knocking some manifolds up for an E34 530?

Looks quality and should make the Bimmer go uber-quick :D

Old-Skool Bimmers, gotta love'em :D

Yaa, had great fun with the regulator on the bottle either letting nothing out or trying to discharge the bottle in one go :(

Both blowers work in parallel, both produce the same amount of boost, but each supplies half the volume of air required through two intercoolers, also running in parallel into a single plenum before being funneled through a nice (shonky) set of home brew throttle bodies :D

Er, if you seriously wanted something made I'd be more than willing to take a look once stu's and my cars are done. I'm not exactly an expert on manifold design, I've just been making what'll fit really.

Hope it will be pretty quick (i.e. as fast as Stu's car  )

Also, who would suspect an innocent looking 20 year old brown BMW? :D

The fact that its brown rocks! What about getting some 316 badges and crappy steelies too?

I may well be interested, if I did go ahead though it would be for a M30 3.5. This all depends on whether I keep the 530 though, as i've been sniffing around an E34 3.6 M5 lately (Will mean bye-bye 205 :D )

Look forward to seeing the final result!

The jury's still out on re-badging it, I quite like the look of the '325i' badge.

Sadly I can't keep the steelies as the new brakes are miles too big to fit underneath :D

There seem to be a few people interested in the M30 so the price of flanges should be quite low if you did want it done
