Steering rack bolts

Hi all,

 

quick question… should the Peugeot 205 font subframe have sleeves going through for the steering rack bolts?  
 

when I torque the bolts up they do not feel very tight but if I crank them down they start the crush the subframe…

 

help / thoughts appreciated.

Yes they should and they fall out and get lost when the bolts are removed

Just a piece of tube but all 205s should have them.

4010 64 is the part number,  partner van also used a similar spacer til 2008.
