205 1.9 gti fuel issues

Hi all

So I have a issue with my 205 , I have noticed this problem last year and again today , so after not been started for 6 weeks the car fired straight up , I took it for a spin for maybe a hour and parked it up back at home , after 3 hours I went to start it up again to move back into shed and it would just crank over and no fire , it was on a hill so after a couple of attempts it bumped started in 2nd gear , if I switched it off today after driving it it would start soon after if needed but leaving it for maybe 3 to 4 hours it just won't start , but if I went up tomorrow it will start  again , I'm not a mechanic but know a bit and I'm leaning towards a dodgy fuel pump , has anyone ever come across this issue .

Leaky injectors can slowly flood a hot engine.

Removing the fuel pump fuse should help you clear the engine when you crank it.
