Worth it?

Hi Guys

 

What are the benefit of having a solid gearbox Mount? 
 

is it worth while. ? 
 

the car has solid engine mounts top and bottom however the gearbox must flex on its oe mount. Thought it would be better to have solid mounts all round. 
 

any thoughts appreciated

Personally, I'd recommend oe top and gearbox mount with bbm fast road lower bush with top mount buffers skimmed. Keeps the engine from excess movement

No- both engine mounts are made of a block of hard fiber. Gearbox Mount is oe. Wanted to eliminate movement completly.

I use the Vibra-Technics gearbox competition mount. The solution from Satchell looks better.

I just changed from a BakerBM to a vibratecnics top mount and i'm impressed with it to be honest, might well change the others
