Upgrading 205 1.4i single point injection

Hi.
I want to upgrade my old 205 so I can take it to track days from time to time.
The old girl has the 1.4i single point injection.
I thought to upgrade the suspension, any recommendation for a sporty but still relatively comfy set?.
The brakes also needs upgrade, any suggestions on this? it has drum brakes on the rear and front discs of course.
Nice bucket seat.
My only problem is with the engine, I'm not sure what can be done with it and if I can squeeze more power... Need your advice and knowledge.
