Help Identifying connectors in engine bay

Recommended Posts

Bremar

Hi, new to forum in last few days. I have a Gentry model 205. There are a few connectors that I can’t see what they were for? I have looked through my Haines manual. Any help would be appreciated. YouTube link attached showing connectors.
Thanks Bremar.

3 spares and an extra bodged earth cable,

the yellow and green earth is original, the one to the inlet manifold stud is not and is totally unnecessary if the lead from battery negative to the transmission is good.

3 pin brown connector is for a diagnostic tool to pick up engine speed, single black spade on the coil wiring is unused, would have been for a suppressor to alleviate noise on the Stereo

white 2 pin is not used, vague memory of something to do with ABS.

The white cable plug is probably ABS as said , the ABS module would mount just in front of that but it was a very rare option , interesting about the little wire of the coil as I wondered what that was for too.

Hi, PhilNW errr I am sure the wiring diagrams will at some point prove useful. Necessity at some point will force me to understand the detail but I was definitely overwhelmed at the minute.
thanks Welshpug, good to know they are not just loose wiring that should have a home.
