306 rear bearings / hubs

Hi,

 

I was advised that a phase 1 306 GTi6 rear wheel bearing is a different offset to a 1.9 205 GTi bearing.  ( and obviously has the ABS rings ) - using the 205 hub spacer.

 

Autodoc shows that both the 1.9a and 306 GTi bearings have a width of 64mm..

 

if i change my vehicle  on Autodoc, it says the bearing is compatible with both the 205 GTi 1.9 and 306 GTi.

 

Are they the same offset / size with the only difference being the ABS ?

Longer stub pin and different style spacer on 306

I was aware they run a slightly longer stub. 
 

I know the spacer on a phase 2 / 3 is different, but isn’t the spacer on the phase 1 306 Gti the same as a 1.9 GTi? I think the part numbers are the same and they look identical 

 

can anyone confirm the wheel bearings are wider on a phase 1 306 GTi vs a 205 bearing.

If I get chance I'll take measurements tomorrow as have plenty of gen 205 hubs and gen 306 hubs phase 1 and 2 + 3 in stock
