Tesseractoid 2 1 Cars Posted July 12 Hi, can anyone help me decide on which driveshaft to get? it's for my G reg 205 1.4 XS There's a few different makes available on eBay, like NAPA and APEC, also J&R but they don't have the nearside in stock so I can't use them. Autodoc have their own brand "RIDEX" and a fair few others, SKF apparently are a well known bearing company, might be a good one, Anyone had any recent experience with new driveshafts and can recommend a brand please? I'd really appreciate it! here's the autodoc options https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/drive-shaft-10162/peugeot/205/205-ii-20a-c/2307-1-4?supplier[]=50 and the ebay options https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=peugeot+205+1.4+driveshaft+nearside&_sacat=0&_pgn=
Leslie green 100 Posted July 13 Heard a few complaints about fitment on skf ones but this was for 1.9 gti cars only , id think a lot of those makes now will be possibly the same part in different boxes so I'd buy the one with the best guarantee .
DamirGTI 340 Posted July 15 If you really want something OE quality that will last then : GKN , Lobro , Spidan - all the same GKN stuff just sold under different brand names (GKN is/was OE supplier for the PSA) D
