106gti turbo, I have a 205 tu5j4 with turbo.... Fully wired in brand new loom made for this, starts up and is definitely overfuelling at idle...need to sort this before I attempt to get this to dyno, I'm running 480cc injectors, and 4 bar fpr is this to much? Any help Will be grateful

Thats the mappers job, just take it there!

480cc would be a 3 bar figure typically,  so at 4 bar they'll be pumping a bit more in, is it a boost referenced pressure regulator?

480cc is pretty bloomin big for a 1600 engine, but it depends what your power target is..

Thanks welshpug for the reply!

No reference at , standard fuel rail with 4bar audi Weber style fpr, I ran this when engine was 'n/a' minus the injectors of coarse, but thanks for the info about that. I've fully built engine and would be very happy with 350

Just looked now, my injectors at 4 bar are 563cc , do you guys/girls on here use raising rate fuel pressure regulators?

The fuel pressure reg needs to be vac/boost referenced as you need the fuel pressure to stay at what ever base pressure you use, above boost pressure. So 4bar becomes 5bar when at 1bar of boost pressure.

Rising rate is a bit of a different thing and not needed.

As said, if it runs just take it to the mapper.

It is fine, I use 488cc @ 3 bar injectors on my 1600 turbo.

You can adjust the injector scaling on the start up tab. I did this with mine as it was very rich.
