205 XS TU3S Distributor vacuum advance

Hi, Does anyone know if the distributor vacuum advance units are available for the TU Bosch distributor on the TU3S engine.?. Mine is completely kapput...has been for the last 50k miles and 29 years as its was noted in  the service history as inoperative by  a Lex  Autocentres Stourbridge back in  1996

 

It's a Bosch 0237 009 620 diz with  a 3173 vac unit

Hi, relevant to this post hopefully, does anyone have any tips for getting the bar from the vacuum to locate on the pin inside the distributor? Thanks

Its just fiddly, easier if you remove the dizzy from the engine. You can take the cap off and move the internal baseplate to give you better access to get the bar on the pin.
