Stop light not working

Recommended Posts

cheesebat

Hi,

My stop light has not been working for ages. The oil pressure light comes on when I turn the ignition, but the coolant temp light and stop light do not.

If I earth the oil pressure sender nothing happens.

If I earth the coolant temp sender the warning light comes on, but no stop light.

the stop light is a new bulb.

does anyone know how the stop light and coolant temp light are activated on ignition?

thanks

Nearly there. It seems the instrument cluster pin c2 (blue connector) should be connected to a4 and d2. There’s no spade connector in my c2 connector. Should these pins be wired together outside of the cluster, or within the flexible pcb? Does anyone have a photo of their connectors? One photo online looks like c2 should be empty.

thanks

Hi Chris. Did you ever resolve this issue? (Got a similar problem.)

Thanks Phil. My French is fine, but I don’t understand the diagram. Don’t suppose there’s a key/legend available?
