Adjustable bottom arms

Recommended Posts

Been looking for adjustable bottom arms, found the compbrake ones but reviews are a bit hit n miss but cant seem to find sensible reasoning why? Anyone with first hand experience they can share.

Any other brands out there that are not stupid prices?

they are only plate steel, not possible to use the standard arb, and have been quite a few exampled of them bending with braking forces.

better bet if you must go adjustable is an insert welded into the original wishbone by a competent welder fabricator, or save up the pennies for something from Satchell engineering.

Interesting, did you run the standard ARB? Any other mods with them?

How old are they and why are they for sale?

Compbrake arms are extremely weak and fail under heavy braking. I have seen this happen twice. Welding a length of 25x6 mild steel on edge fixed the issue.
