What are these for?

On top of both front suspension top mounts are a washer with a tab that sits underneath the top nut. Connected to the tab is a black wire. What are these wires for?

I have attached a photo of the washers with the tab. I had to buy a pack of 20 when I changed mine. If anyone needs them let me  know.

They are earth wires & they go from the tab to 1 off the 3 nuts that hold the strut in place

They earth the damper, it is to allow the brake pad wear sensor a path to earth, as otherwise the caliper/leg etc is isolated electrically from the rest of the car, as it is all attached by rubber mounts and bushes.

No problem, if you are happy to cover postage I will put them in an envelope and send them to you. Probably no more than £2. I will check and let you know tomorrow.

What is your name and address?
