Nithy 0 Posted April 4, 2023 Strangly yesterday I was driving my CTI, and then noticed small air bubbles appear within the windscreen. Mine is a CTI, so just front windscreen, there is no flim or tint or anything, just plain old windscreen. The bubbles are actually inside the windscreen. I have googled, and didnt get much response apart from someonewho who seems to heave the same issue on a nissan. The pic is NOT mine, ths is the images from the person who has he issue with his Nissan, and in that forum there seems to be no answers either. https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=24322 Mine is not this bad, I have about 10 bubbles if that, but I belive its going to ge worse... Not sure if thre is an answer for this , or anyone of you will know or seen this. Worse comes to worse, where can I buy a new windcreen? any ideas? Thanks Nithy
welshpug 1,646 Posted April 5, 2023 Your insurance has windscreen cover.
Leslie green 104 Posted April 5, 2023 (edited) Never seen the like of it before but windscreens are 2 layers of glass with a sheet of plastic in the middle , looks like it has debonded and a new windscreen is certainly the only answer. Possibly extreme heat related is all I can think off if you are in New Zealand. Edited April 5, 2023 by Leslie green
